西と東の王国の境界線となる山々に伸びた膨大な荒地、東方のアクイナス王国。
小さな山道、荒地よりももっと危険なこの小道だけが、唯一山々を越える手立てだ。

西と東のほとんどの貿易は海から行われるが、費用と時間がかかる冒険だ。よって貿易商たちは、たとえ危険を冒しても陸路を選択する。

ランガーと彼の部下も例外ではなく、アクイナスとこの山々の道を通って商売をする。
彼は貿易サービスで稼ぐだけではなく、東からの珍しい商品の売買や、貿易商に価値のある物資を提供したりして稼いでいる。

Lord of the Wastelands – At the sl*vemarket

Eastwardly of the kingdom of Aquinas the vast Wastelands expand to the mountain range that marks the border between the western and the eastern kingdoms.

A small mountain pass, even more dangerous than the Wastelands, provides the only way to cross those mountains.

Most trading between the east and the west is done by sea, an expensive and time consuming endeavor, therefore some tradesman still prefer the land route, despite the dangers.

Rangor and his men run the only caravansary between Aquinas and this mountain pass so he makes good money.

Not only with the fees he charges from the caravans for his services, but also with trading rare items from the east or supplying traders that travel east with goods that are valuable there.

From time to time Rangor and some of his Wastelands warriors visit Aquinas to stock up on supplies and trade some of the goods they acquired.
